In her work, Ida engages with a virtual version of herself: Ada, whom she considers her artificial self. A digital twin. AI Melano is a speculative art project which aims to play with image and identity within the given framework of digital and actual representation towards the real world.
Whilst Ida deals with issues like self-reflection, media critique, sleeplessness, anxiety and so on, her counterpart Ada functions as a filter and absorbent.
All work is a collaboration with machine learning software.
